| The Pink Cabbage We venture off Main Street occasionally, especially when it involves people like our dear friends from the late great Oella Mill shops. I heard from Pete Ruff that a special new shop was set to open just west of Main Street, and now here it is. Located in a 130-year-old historic building at the corner of Frederick Road and Triadelphia Road, the whimsically named “Pink Cabbage” will be easy to spot by the bright pink doors that decorate the front of what was once a post office and general store. Like Oella Mill, this is a cooperative of a group of shops each specializing in antiques, vintage furniture, jewelry, linens and accessories. The shop is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM, closed Monday, and with extended hours on Friday. |
